Information about Blue Magic

Blue Magic, located just under 10 kilometers northeast of Kri Island in the Dampier Strait, is a diver's paradise renowned for its extraordinary marine biodiversity and thrilling underwater encounters. This submerged seamount is a hotspot for pelagic species, including a variety of sharks, barracuda, trevally, and, most notably, oceanic manta rays from December to April.

Diving Blue Magic is an exhilarating experience, especially when currents are running. The top of the mount lies between 10 to 14 meters, making it accessible yet challenging, with depths sloping to around 25 to 30 meters. The plateau features vibrant coral gardens teeming with smaller critters, perfect for macro photography enthusiasts. Large schools of fusiliers, patrolling grey reef sharks, and hunting pelagics add to the site's dynamic nature. For the best experience, a negative entry and quick descent are recommended.
